Dr Slabbert was born in Paarl, in the Western Cape, but has lived in Gauteng most of his life. He graduated from Wits in 1986 as a medical doctor. He completed specialisation as a plastic surgeon in 1999.
He has practiced mainly at Milpark hospital in Johannesburg, where he has been involved in treating trauma, burns, cancer etc. In his spare time; he enjoys reading, playing the guitar and spending time with his family and dogs.

Maria was born in Potchefstroom where she was raised. She now runs Dr Slabbert’s practice.
In her spare time, she is a passionate gardener and a very good chef. She enjoys reading, running and spoiling her family and dogs.
Sandiselwe Moyo

Sandiselwe Moyo
Sandiselwe was born and raised in Zimbabwe. She holds a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Library and Information Science from the National University of Science and Technology (zw-2017).
She now works as a data capturer in Dr Slabbert’s practice. Her hobbies are hairdressing, reading and watching movies.
